David Green is the Motoring Editor of ‘The Times LUXX’ and writes for various auto and lifestyle publications about cars.

He presents the coverage on ITV and ITV4 for Goodwood’s three annual motoring events, ‘The Festival of Speed’, ‘Revival’ and ‘Members’ Meeting’.

David has been involved with various car related TV programmes on both sides of the Atlantic including, ‘Speed Hurts’ for Turner, ‘Car Cruzin’ for ITV and ‘Inside West Coast Customs’ for Discovery. This is in addition to entertainment shows such as the ‘BAFTA Britannia Awards’, and numerous behind the scenes specials on US dramas such as ‘Lost’, ‘House’, ‘24’ and ‘The Simpsons’. He appeared in and produced the ‘Bullrun Rally’ on Channel 4 in the UK and MTV in the US.

He has been an active competitor in UK motorsport for many years. His first season was a drive for ‘Volkswagen’, sponsored by ‘Sony’, taking him from karts to cars. Since then he has won races and titles including the ‘Britcar Production Championship’ and the ‘British MSA GT Endurance Championship’ with ‘Lotus’. 

Starting his career in modelling, David won the ‘Clothes Show Model of the Year’ competition and a consequent modelling contract. Since then he has modeled for a variety of international brands such as ‘Ralph Lauren’, ‘Ermenegildo Zegna’ and ‘Levis’, as well as appearing in various TV commercials for ‘Stella Artois’, ‘Wella’, ‘Guinness’, ‘Diet Coke’ and ‘Wrigleys’.
