Born in Jamaica, raised in Brixton and never too far from the spotlight, Dillian Whyte has become one of the biggest names in world boxing. Renowned for his explosive style inside the ring, the ‘Body Snatcher’ is now regarded as an elite force in the heavyweight division.
Dedicated to his craft and meticulous with preparation, the south Londoner has now catapulted himself into the top three of the division worldwide, being ranked number two in ‘The Ring’ magazine’s authoritative Top Ten rankings. Whyte is also a former kickboxing champion, having held the BIKMA British super-heavyweight title, not once but twice! He’s also won the European K1 title, and has competed professionally in mixed martial arts.
Following an eleven fight winning streak since his sole professional loss to Anthony Joshua in 2015 (having previously defeated Joshua in his first amateur fight back in 2009), Dillian is on the cusp of fighting Tyson Fury for the full WBC World Heavyweight Title as the WBC’s mandatory challenger.
In 2019, Dillian competed in BBC’s ‘Celebrity MasterChef’and made it all the way to the final four. Alongside this, Dillian featured in a new series, in which celebrities open up about a big problem they’ve learned to deal with and then surprise teenagers currently facing the same difficulty, to share their insights.
