Kimberley Walsh first shot to fame as part of the record-breaking girl band Girls Aloud, a group that dominated the charts with twenty consecutive top-ten hits, including four number ones. By 2012, they were officially the UK’s biggest-selling girl group of the 21st century, amassing over four million single and album sales in the UK alone.
Since then, Kimberley has proven herself to be a multi-hyphenate in the entertainment industry. She danced her way to the Strictly Come Dancing final, released a debut solo album, and became a West End leading lady, winning rave reviews for roles in Shrek The Musical, Elf, and Sweet Charity. Most recently, she starred as Susan Lawrence in the West End premiere of Big and took on the iconic role of Annie in Sleepless in Seattle, one of the first theatre productions to open post-lockdown.
On-screen, Kimberley has become a familiar face in television, co-hosting BBC’s Morning Live alongside Gethin Jones. She also wowed audiences as Odd Socks in The Masked Dancer, making it all the way to the semi-finals.
Her influence extends into the fashion and lifestyle space, too. A sought-after brand ambassador, Kimberley is the face of DIY giant Wickes, designed three bestseller clothing collections for Dorothy Perkins, and helped to launch Avon’s latest skincare line.
Away from the spotlight, Kimberley’s favourite role is being mum to her three sons— Bobby, Cole, and Nate.
