Melvin Odoom is one of the UK’s most loved presenters, known for his infectious energy across radio, TV, and live events. A firm favourite on BBC Radio 1, he has worked at the station since 2018 and currently fronts the Live Lounge Show alongside his co-presenters Rickie Haywood-Williams and Charlie Hedges. Previous to Radio 1, Melvin hosted the Kiss FM breakfast show from 2007-2018 alongside Rickie and Charlie, for which they won Gold at The Sony Radio Awards in 2012!

2024 saw Melvin take on the ultimate challenge as a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!—winning over the nation with his charm, humour, and an unforgettable jungle friendship with Oti Mabuse. That same year, he was announced as an M&S Menswear Style Ambassador, a partnership which allowed him to showcase his interest in Fashion.
On screen, Melvin has proven his versatility, from hosting E4’s Celeb Cooking School with Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli to co-presenting The Xtra Factor and fronting ITV’s Bang on the Money. He’s also no stranger to reality TV, having competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016—leaving early but making an epic comeback to be crowned Christmas Champion!

Melvin’s love for entertainment extends beyond the screen. He has hosted global events like the first-ever LEGO CON in Denmark and fronted Lego Masters, which earned an International Emmy Kids Award nomination. He’s also a familiar face hosting major red carpets and award shows, including The BRITs and The MOBO Awards.
