Rich and Lew, aka ‘Two Dads in London’, reside in the capital with their son and daughter. Their mission is to show the world that you can be the best at parenting no matter your circumstances or the challenges it throws your way. Rich and Lew recognise that parenting isn’t glamorous nor perfect, but believe it should be memorable and full of laughs and fun.
They always knew they wanted to become parents one day and after conducting a lot of research into the different routes to make this happen, they decided that adoption would be the right option for their family. They began the process at the start of 2014 and have since been blessed with their son’s arrival later that year, followed by their daughter in 2018.
Lew created their Instagram account in 2019 as a way to connect with other parents raising babies and young children. Feeling isolated in their situation, Lew decided to search for other same sex parents and was surprised when he came across a couple whom he could connect with and share their experiences. It was following this he was inspired to create their Two Dads in London account. Since then they have built a wonderfully supportive community who keep up with their daily lives. As well as talking about daily struggles of being a parent, they try to keep their account relatable with some light-hearted fun along the way. They also like to use their platform to help others who are considering adoption and since starting the account they have received numerous messages from people going through the process.
Rich and Lew have worked with a number of brands including Tesco, Disney, Netflix, Kingsmill and Costa. In 2022 they released their debut children’s book ‘My Families and Other Families: Finding the power in our differences’ which was an Amazon Bestseller.
