Denise Van Outen

Denise is a multi-talented and versatile presenter, broadcaster, actress and DJ. Denise’s TV presenting work most recently can be seen bringing a touch of sparkle to consumer and feature programming on Channel 4 in shows such as; Air Fryers: Are They Worth It? and Secrets of the Supermarket Own Brands which are all available to view on All4 player.  Denise stars in Gogglebox each year as a telly obsessive. And last year Denise was a weekly regular on Channel 4’s daytime show ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’ as a presenter alongside her friend Steph. Denise is currently working on more TV projects with filming currently underway in 2024.

Denise’s autobiography ‘A Bit Of Me: From Basildon to Broadway, and back was released in 2022 and became a Sunday Times Best Seller. It was released on paperback in 2023.

Denise has enjoyed huge success on screen and stage since her first break came in 1996 presenting ‘The Big Breakfast’. She has appeared on the stage with great success starring in ‘Chicago’ (West End and Broadway), ‘Tell Me on a Sunday’ (West End), ‘Legally Blonde’ (West End) and ‘Rent’ (West End). She headlined ‘Proud Cabaret’ to sell-out shows in London and you will have heard her narrating one of the UK’s biggest reality shows, ‘The Only Way Is Essex’. 

In 2015 Denise landed herself a role on Eastenders as part of the show’s thirtieth anniversary celebrations and enjoyed being a judge for two seasons of ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’ for TV3 from 2018. Since then, Denise has continued to appear in a variety of shows including ‘Dancing on Ice’, ‘The Celebrity Circle’, ITV1’s ‘Cooking with the Stars’ and appeared on the UK version of ‘The Masked Singer’ as ‘Fox’ in the show’s premiere series! Denise was guest judge on ‘The Masked Singer Live’ which toured the UK in 2022. 

Denise is a passionate fundraiser too, and in the past has embarked on huge personal challenges that saw her climb Kilimanjaro fort Comic Relief, cycle one hundred and eighty-seven miles across parts of India and completing a Himalayan trek in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Her latest charity work in Winter 2023 was a single in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support (she partnered with Duncan James).
